Flaxseed Oil Powder

Our Flaxseed oil powder is a fat powder with a 50% ALA Omega 3 Flaxseed Oil.It can be spray dried with Glucose syrup/Isomaltooligosaccharide(IMO)/Polydextrose(PDX)/Resistant Dextrin.

The powder is intended for dry formulations like Diet foods,Sports nutrition,Meal Shakes and can also be used in bakery type applications.

Flaxseeds are rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids of which Alpha linolenic acid ( ALA ) is the most abundant , also known as one of the Omega -3 fatty acids . The body can convert ALA into eicosapentaenoic acid ( EPA ) and to a lesser extent docosahexaenoic acid ( DHA ).

ALA has different benefits related to health , such as lowering blood sugar levels , supporting healthy cholesterol levels and heart health and helping in protection against high blood pressure.
